The staff was really helpful and extremely helpful from arrival to departure. The room of place was a nice size with a balcony looking down to the water.

I had a room here that was reasonably priced and came with AC. The location was fantastic, right above a restaurant 🍽️. The restaurant was just a short walk away, less than 400 feet from this place.

Yummy complimentary breakfast featuring butter and yogurt, and it doesn't break the bank. 🍳 Rooms come with a balcony that offers a view of the water below.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk from everywhere we wanted to go; the room was spacious, had a balcony, and was reasonably priced.

The housekeepers were friendly and did special things to make us feel welcome. They cleaned the room and the finishing touch....clean towels in the shape of two swans joined in the middle with a heart, birds in a nest, snakes. One of the girls brought us two different types of tamales so we could try the food they brought for their own breakfast some days.

The continental breakfast is better than nothing, I guess. They offer white bread to make toast, and the limit is two slices, which is more than I would want anyway. They have little yogurt containers-limit one. Coffee is o.k. Low quality orange juice. Someone is watching so you don't take more than the limit allowed.

Not a luxury place, but with a special care that makes your stay much better than stars.

The room we had was simply decorated and neat with balcony overlooking life on 5th Ave, couches plus comfortable mattress.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a boutique hotel in the heart of Playa del Carmen. Located on the famous 5th Avenue, this hotel offers great value for money. The attention to detail in the rooms with king-sized beds and colorful decor is impressive. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay.

Nice place, near to the city centre of Playa, close to the Mamita beach with excellent and helpfull staff. Rooms are clean, services are good..In the nearby sorroundings you can find restaurants and bars to hang out in the evening...It's close to the most popular bars on the 5th ave, but still enough away to have peace and quitness in the night when you want to sleep...

Hotel Banana is a sweet little hotel, located just next to the pedestrian part of the Quinta Avenida. The staff is very nice and helpful, also the rooms are super clean. The perfect location for someone who wants to be close to the center.

We loved the location of this place, right on the 5th avenue with plenty of restaurants and shops around. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and they even arranged car hire for us. The housekeeping was impeccable and we loved the free toiletries provided in our clean room.

This place is highly recommended to anyone who wants to relax and have a great time in a luxurious setting.

The hotel has a nice size and good basic rooms with nice bed linens, balcony and a wide window. There is a wide range of excellent food for breakfast. The location is magnificent, 5 minutes' walk to a handicraft museum. Excellent service, the breakfast is complimentary.
